About Nineteen Times
Hi, I'm Camden! Nineteen Times is my one-man punk and alternative rock band that I created in 2019. Music has always been a big part of my life. I started playing guitar as a kid, drums as a teenager, and picked up bass somewhere along the way. Then I realized that I needed to sing too if I wanted to do this, so that too.
I'm also a huge computer nerd so I learned how to make beats, and that evolved into learning how to record, produce, and mix - making this dream of being my own full band a reality.
My music is a melting pot of rock influences. I'm a punk and alternative rock guy at heart, growing up on Green Day, Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, The Clash, blink-182, and Rise Against to name a few. Other things make their way into my sound too - I love the energy of grunge and post-grunge bands like Nirvana, Third Eye Blind, and Bush, but at the same time the jangle of Counting Crows and Gin Blossoms. Going back further, I also love Queen, Van Halen, Boston, and any 80s rock song with an arpeggiated riff.
